Why is "SOUR" of Olivia Rodrigo on top of the world?

She was born in Disney – like our favorites pop stars – and the world really met her thought “driver's license”, her first popular song which destroyed TikTok.

On May 21 Olivia Rodrigo released her debut album SOUR after the breakdown succesesfull Driver's license. With a mix of teenage feelings, broken hearts, rock ‘n roll and love, she travels everyone trough teen days. But the most precious thing about her songs is how much of her heart she puts in her songs. 

I don’t know her, I never met her but I do can imagine every scene she tells us in her music. It's really like a friend telling me how she is or what she's feeling. The true with her heart and her life makes me fall in love with her. I really want to hug her and be her friend. When she's singing, I feel her pain and I keep imagine how it's to sing something so hurtful, the courage it takes. The power of transporting you to a moment in your life is magical. 

I'm not being nice with her, I am truly involved with her songs. I can say, with much sure, everyone felt something like that or lived a moment nearly of what she describes. Its normal and it's wonderful to listening that she felt it too and its okay. I even realized that I was hanging on feelings for the fear... yes, Olivia, you helped me more than I thought it would be possible.  

The first song that I really listened was Deja vu (yeah, I didn’t have tiktok so I lost the trending of Driver's license) and these songs brought so much weird and lost feelings. Its calm and exciting. But Good 4 u was another story. The first thing that I thought was about Avril Lavigne and I saw myself with 13 yo listening to Smile in my bedroom and pretending I'm Avril. The nostalgic and the rock ‘n roll of this song is really special.   

Olivia showed us something that not everyone can do: she travels around the ritms, she can sing calmly or do a rock show in minutes. Its brave. This rollercoaster makes her more special and I'm really interest imagining what she'll brings to us. But one thing I can assure you, she's not the next Avril or the next Taylor Swift, she is Olivia and she already showed us her power.  

Let's just wait until the next power of a teenager with so much passion on her soul & heart.
